Marie Alcock

President of Learning Systems Associates (LSA) Dr. Marie Alcock is a national and international education consultant. In addition she is currently on the faculty of Walden University’s School of Education where she serves as a lead professor in curriculum, instruction, and assessment practices. Working with the American Education and Research Association (AERA) and People to People Dr. Alcock has traveled broadly to share her knowledge and to gain insight into what other countries are developing in the field of education. 

With extensive experience working in public and private education in Vermont, North Carolina, New Jersey, and New York City schools as a teacher and administrator Dr. Alcock brings a broad range of experience and knowledge peppered with an original vision to the field of education. As a public advocate she founded the non-profit TEN list (Tomorrow’s Education Network), which is dedicated to connecting the greater community with students in the classroom to improve student literacy. Michael Fisher

Michael Fisher is a former teacher who is now a full-time author and instructional coach. He works with schools around the country, helping to sustain curriculum upgrades, design curriculum, and modernize instruction in immersive technology.

He has taught a variety of grade levels and content areas over the years, primarily in Middle Schools. Michael is the author of several books published by ASCD, most recently
Ditch the Daily Lesson Plan: How do I plan for meaningful student learning? He is a contributing author to the Solution Tree series Contemporary Perspectives on Literacy and his latest book is Hacking the Common Core, the fourth book in the Hack Learning series.

Allison Zmuda

Allison Zmuda is going on 17 years as a full-time education consultant specializing in curriculum, assessment, and instruction.

She works with her clients to imagine learning experiences that are worthy of the pursuit for both students and educators, designing work that is relevant, meaningful, challenging, and appropriate. Since 2001, she has co-authored nine books, her most recent with Bena Kallick — Students at the Center: Personalized Learning and Habits of Mind (ASCD) — which was released January 2017.

In addition to her consulting work, Allison curates  learningpersonalized.com, a website community comprised of her writing and that of colleagues and other educators. She has also developed a series of online personalized learning courses with Bena Kallick, available on Eduplanet21.
